As DC3's technical solutions development capability, the Defense Cyber Crime Institute (DCCI) tailors software and system solutions engineered to the specific requirements of digital forensic examiners and cyber intrusion analysts. DCCI validates commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and in-house developed software/hardware before it can be used in a forensic process. In addition, DCCI functions as the DoD repository for cyber counterintelligence (CI) tools.
The Counterintelligence Tool Repository (CITR) is a warehouse of classified and unclassified tools that support digital forensics and counterintelligence needs. Whenever possible, the actual tool is provided through the repository portal in the form of a downloadable executable. When a downloadable executable cannot be provided, the repository advises how to obtain the tool from the hosting agency.
For further information regarding how to obtain tools from, or contribute tools to, the CITR, please send an email to DCCI@dc3.mil.
All DC3 Tools and Tool Validations are UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO for U.S. DoD and Federal law enforcement and counterintelligence (LE/CI) official use only. Authorized personnel may access some of these tools and validations from Intelink or place a request to DCCI@dc3.mil.Currently available DC3 Tools Currently available DC3 Tool Validations
